तस्माच्छास्त्रं प्रमाणं ते कार्याकार्यव्यवस्थितौ।

Arsha Vidya Vilasam Foundation

Arsha Vidya Vilasam Foundation, an Institute founded by Swami Guhatmananda Saraswati, a disciple of Pujya Shri Swami Dayanada Saraswati. This Foundation encourages the traditional study of Advaita Vedanta, Sanskrit, Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology and other classical Indian disciplines, in its holy space.

Arsha Vidya Vilasam is a sacred sanctuary where a sincere seeker, a stellar student of our Sanathana Dharma will find answers for his or her numerous questions, regarding all aspects of our Dharma, from the profound teachings found in our scriptures like the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and other classical Vedic texts in English as well as in Tamil. The learning of Sanskrit is made easy with the help of Panini Sutras.

‘Arsha’ literally means, ‘from the Rishis’, the illustrious sages who belong to this Dev Bhoomi, akhanda Bharatha Varsha. ‘Vidhya’ means ‘real knowledge’ and ‘Vilasam’ means ‘a quiet space where the seeker spends time to learn from his Guru’.

Hence ‘Arsha Vidya Vilasam’ is an extraordinary place, where the scriptures are taught by the Guru in a traditional manner as laid out by our sages, to earnest devotees from all over the world.

This method of teaching, traditionally began with Lord Shiva who imparted this sanctified Vidya to the sages, and it has been kept alive by Pujya Swami Guhatmananda Saraswati, a distinguished disciple of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
