This organisation was primarily founded by Poojya Swamiji in the year 2014,
to spread an indepth knowledge of Vedanta among the young and the old with the help of Ancient
Indian Scriptures like, the Brahmasutras, the Upanishads, the Puranas and the Bhagavad Gita.

Public Talks
Under its banner public talks on Vedanta are being organised at Thane (Mumbai), Tiruchirapalli, Tuticorin and Chennai in Tamilnadu.
Online classes
Regular Online classes on Bhagavad Gita, Viveka Choodamani, Sri Vidhya Studies and special chanting sessions are being conducted.
Comprehensive courses on Vedanta
Comprehensive courses on Vedanta, Sanskrit studies and special learning of the Upanishads are also being held under the expert guidance of Swamiji. These classes also focus on spreading Vedic culture and positive samskaras through puja vidhi and chanting among the youth and children.
Nithya Pujas, Homas and Yagnas
Swamiji’s Ashram is blessed with the presence of Sri Lalitha Maha Tripurasundari, Sri Raja Mathangi with the Meru (Sri Chakra), Sri Varahi, Sri Dakshinamurthy, Sri Siddha Lakshmi Sahita Maha Ganapati, Sri Valli Devasena Sahita Shanmukha Subramaniyar, Surya Bhagavan, Shri Vishnu and Shri Lakshmi, for whom pooja is offered everyday and on special occasions.
Swamiji believes that puja is an important sadhana for spiritual growth. Hence, besides Nithya Pujas, Homas and Yagnas are conducted by Swamiji himself on special occasions like the PurnimaPuja on every Full Moon Day; the Navarathri Pujas; Sashti Puja; Guru Puja on Guru Purnima; Maha Shivaratri is also celebrated with great fanfare. Chandi Homam is regularly performed.
Spiritual Camps and Retreats
To enable the serious student of Vedanta to completely dedicate and devote his/her time to spiritual pursuits, spiritual camps have been organised in the serene surroundings of Rishikesh ashram, Anaikatti Ashram and Amboli.
Yaatraas
Yaatraas are also organised, every year, by AVVF to the temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rishikesh, Varaanasi, besides, specific ones like the Brahmagiri Parikrama at Trayambakeshwar and to the temples in Maharashtra and Tamilnadu.
Library
The library that is in the premises of AVVF has a golden collection of spiritual books by various authors, on Vedanta, Sri Vidya, Vedic and Sanskrit studies, Puja Vidhi, Sanskrit and Tamil Literature. Some of them are rare books.
